Fordhall Farm Shop, Picnic Area and Nature Trail are open Wednesday

Fordhall Farm - Owned by You FARM TRAIL APPEAL 2008We desperately need your help to improve the Fordhall Farm Trail. Fordhall is fast becoming a great educational resource after being saved from development in the inspiring national campaign in 2006 that so many of you were part of. It is now being used on a weekly basis by local schools and on weekends by the general public, and this number is increasing. But we are embarrassed by its current state and its desperate need of repair and upgrade. We want to make Fordhall Farm accessible for you and enjoyable for you and your families. We need new signs, gates, bridges over the ditches, and maps. This will hopefully stop all those from getting lost - and we just thought you were stopping off for a picnic as you went round :-) We need to raise at least £8,000 through our own fundraising, to enable us to bring in an additional £50,000 from the Heritage Lottery fund. A donation of £30 would be a real help although any donation however small (or large!) is fantastic, it soon adds up. You may have already received a letter through the post about our appeal, or you may have just dropped on our website. Either way we really need your help. You can donate online or by posting us a cheque with your details and a note to confirm that we can claim gift aid (an additional 25% from the Tax Man) on your donation. I look forward to hearing from you all soon, or even seeing you on our developing Farm Trail. Warmest wishes to you all, Charlotte Hollins. P.S. Why not come and see the trail for yourself at our Summer Faire on Sunday July 6th - put the date in your diary now.
----------------------- A huge thank you must go to everyone who helped ensure that 2006 was such a successful year. We all are looking forward to another exciting year of farming, events and meeting more friends. We realy hope you are able to visit Fordhall Farm in the near future and see what you have helped to save for everyone to enjoy.
