In response to the crisis, the charitable society that owns Fordhall (Fordhall Community Land Initiative FCLI) has established a Covid-19 board sub group to make speedy and appropriate decisions regarding the situation. This sub group (made up of key board members) has full delegated decision making powers as confirmed by all Board members, until such time as government restrictions are lifted and it will keep in regular contact with the main board. We are slowly navigating the safe operation of our services. This is an ever changing landscape, but at present: - yurts are reopening from 12th April 2021 - care farm is open to support adults with learning disabilities - volunteer placements are on hold during the period of lockdown unless supporting vulnerable people -Meeting spaces open for business use with restricted numbers - youth project supporting vulnerable young people continues - Wild Wellies Adventure Trails for toddlers is back running every Friday in a group session from 21st May 2021 - Afternoon Amble continues to support those struggling with feelings of isolation or loneliness. As an outdoor socially distanced walk, this activity support group is Covid safe and limited in number. During lockdown access to this is through referral only.
