Seedlings and Saplings Group 29th April 2013 - 17th December 2013
Every Tuesday at Fordhall Farm is our 'Parent and Toddlers' Group. In our secure and beautiful classroom there are various toys and activities to keep your children entertained, to learn about new sights, sounds and textures and to explore the farm and see what gorgeous creatures you might discover! A lovely space for you to meet other parents, let the children play and you can enjoy a cup of tea, cake or lunch from our tearoom.

Biodynamic Workshop 11th May 2013 - 11th May 2013
These workshops provides a unique introduction to the basic principles of biodynamic farming and gardening. Bernard Jarman will show participants by harmonising terrestrial and cosmic influences and strengthening the all-round vitality of plant and soil, crops can be grown that are strong, resistant and filled with vitality. Practical outdoor demonstrations will be included as well as plenty of time for discussion. Please bring suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. 10am-5pm, £65 including lunch

This one day workshop gives you a chance to learn the traditional art of basket weaving. Tutors Helen and Kelvin Stanley guide you through the whole process of weaving with willow, at the end of the day, you will take home your very own handmade basket 10am-4pm, £45, bring and share lunch
Bee Aware Workshop 1st June 2013 - 1st June 2013
Brigit Strawbridge (BBC2 Its not easy being green) will be coming to Fordhall to hold a Bee Aware Workshop. Learn about the importance of bees as pollinators and the problems they face. Brigit will take participants on a walk around Fordhall, whilst teaching about this beautiful, but endangered species. £25 including lunch, 9.30am-4.30pm
Inroduction to Greenwood Working (Adults) 8th June 2013 - 8th June 2013
This workshop will teach you the basics of Greenwood Working. You will learn how to make a stool using traditional tools and techniques, which you can take home at the end of the day! 10am-4pm, £35 including lunch

A one day course learning how to make bread the natural way. Experiment with different dough; bake in our clay oven (weather dependant) and take home what you have made. 10am-4pm £80

Explore the dark, damp underworld of mushrooms and other fungi found at Fordhall Farm, with local mushroom expert John Hughes (Shropshire Wildlife Trust) leading the way. 10am-12.30pm, followed by a Fordhall lunch, £15 including food.
