Fordhall Organic Farm

Fordhall has something to offer everyone. This farm is unique, pioneering and inspirational, with everything from cows and pigs to solar panels and a composting toilet!

However, we don't want to give too much away about the magic of Fordhall as we really want you to come and discover it yourself. A visit to our unique organic farm will not only offer a delightful day out, but it is sure to open your mind to what can be achieved when community, farming and nature work together.

The farm shop, restaurant and trails are open six days a week:

- Monday: CLOSED

- Tuesday - Saturday: 9.30pm - 5pm

- Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays: 10am - 4pm

You could choose to walk one of our three trails, buy some local delights from the farm shop or have lunch in the restaurant.

Eco-Building

Our lovely renovated Old Dairy is where you will find Arthur's restaurant, the farm shop and our meeting rooms. The building was renovated and opened in 2011. It includes sheep's wool, hemp, recycled newspaper, lime plaster walls, clay paints and welsh slate. In addition we generate our own electricity through our PV cells, we generate heat from our air source heat pump and we have a fantastic green roof above our oak canopy.
