Fordhall Farm Hog Roasts
The hog roast is an impressive sight when cooked, golden brown and covered in crackling giving visual impact coupled with delicious food. We will cook one of our home reared free-range Gloucester Old Spot pigs. As Ben tends to the pigs on a daily basis and will probably be serving your hog roast, you couldn’t ask for better traceability.
A whole pig takes approx. 7.5 hours to roast. When the hog is ready to serve one of our team will carve the pig in front of the guests and plate up the buffet fresh. The pork to be served with an accompaniment of apple sauce together with fresh bread rolls.
This can be part of a larger buffet prepared by yourselves or as a stand alone meal. Please bear in mind if there is no other buffet people will usually require 2 hog roast baps. We can also provide a bbq service if required with our own home made burgers and sausage 
For use inside or out, our ovens are portable and can go almost anywhere. Our machines use a spit so give a great visual impact in comparison to some versions which are purely cooked in a large oven and served from a tray.

Or you can just hire our machine, buy the pig for your event and cook and carve it yourself, this is priced on a individual basis but is ussually around £300.
