Whether we are welcoming your group for a social gathering, family party or work meeting, we can promise an eco-friendly alternative to standard function rooms, with plenty of natural light, high quality catering options and beautiful surroundings.
Plus, we are easy to find, have plenty of free parking and all profits from bookings go straight back into supporting our on-site community projects.
Social gatherings
A perfect central meeting place in Shropshire. Our Foggage and Yoghourt rooms, can be hired for an array of celebrations, day or evening. From birthdays to retirement parties, baby showers, wakes and Christmas celebrations, our connected rooms are fully accessible via a platform lift and recommended for 10-35 guests (please speak to us if you are looking for a room at the upper end of our capacity as only some room layouts are possible).
We can provide all catering and are even fully licenced to serve alcohol. You are also welcome to bring your own entertainment. As policy we provide all catering for your occasion and therefore do not allow self-catered events in these spaces (apart from specific celebration cakes).

For larger functions of 25-65 guests or for events that require a little more space, please check out our Straw Lodge. You could also combine the Straw Lodge with an outdoor marquee (arranged by yourselves) to extend numbers even further.
Having an event in our house of straw, is not just easy on your conscience, but its beauty and proximity to baby piglets is hard to rival!

Business meetings
Our adjoining meeting rooms (Foggage and Yoghourt) can be used separately or combined.
Fordhall Organic Farm is an eco-friendly choice and is great for demonstrating your company's CSR. Plus, we are easy to find from the M6, A41 and A53.
There is no need to bring equipment with you - we have flipcharts, stationery, projector and screen available to hire, plus free super-fast fibre broadband. Site tours, welcome talks and charity rates available upon request.
This room works well for up to 20 people for a formal meeting. Why not enquire about a team building session!
Interest group visits and farm tours
We can cater for your local group whether it is a U3A, WI, Rotary, natural history, organic gardeners, students or international visitors. We even have space for a coach!
We offer guided walks around Fordhall which cover the farm's organic history, its journey into community ownership, eco building construction, and how we work collaboratively onsite today with nature, tenant farmer and community.
A group tour (for groups of 10-30) will generally take about 1.75-2 hours. An alternative 10 minute intro or a full 30-40min talk can be provided in a room with lunch and refreshments for larger numbers.
