Nestled away in the village of Market Drayton on the Shropshire border, sits our beautifully organic landscape, boasting spectacular views of the Tern Valley.
Whether you would prefer a traditional wedding ceremony and reception, or a more informal relaxed approach to your special day, here at Fordhall Farm we can cater for all.
To begin your wedding planning journey, simply email our Wedding and Events Manager on email@example.com to arrange for a tour of the farm and a run through of your bespoke requirements.
With a selection of ceremony destinations on site, including our beautiful roundhouse structure nestled away in the woodlands, or perhaps our Norman Ringwork and Bailey site with an outstanding view across the valley, you will be spoilt for choice as to where to host your nearest and dearest for your ceremony.
We are fully registered with Shropshire council to hold legal ceremonies right here on site, so long gone are the days of being restricted to a church or registry office to share your vows.
Click here for more information on Shropshire Registry Services.
We work closely with local celebrants to ensure that your ceremony is personal to you and your partner. It can include music, readings, a dress or none of the above, your day, your way.
With the legalities sorted at a time to suit you, you can be free to create our own ceremony on the farm.
At the heart of every wedding day is the food you share with your family and friends. As we all know, food is the ingredient that binds us together and here at Fordhall Farm we have a vast range of options to suit all tastes.
Ranging from a traditional silver service bespoke menu, right through to a hog roast of Fordhall Farm Old Spot Gloucester pork, the possibilities are endless.
All of our food is organically or locally sourced, the meat directly from our own farm. We use fresh, seasonal produce to form our outstanding menus of which are produced and delivered by our own in-house chef and catering team.

We can provide a fully stocked bar delivering a range of locally sourced ciders, lagers and ales alongside a selection of organic and local wines. With a variety of spirits and mixers there will be something for everybody.
We can even source barrels of fantastic local real ales that can be set up for guests to help themselves to all night long.
The Straw Lodge, Marquee, Yurt or Tipi
We work with a portfolio of trusted suppliers of either marquees or tipis for the farm. These can be as elaborate or as simple as you like.
This is your day and every aspect can be tailored to suit your vision and your numbers of guests. Ranging from small intimate gatherings right through to weddings of 150 guests+.
For the smaller wedding, we have a beautiful Straw Lodge onsite. Built using straw bales and roundwood timber this beautiful space can seat 65 guests for both your ceremony and your reception.
Our Yurts are available for hire and consist of a bedroom suite (double bed and a set of bunk beds) and living area suite (with a sofa bed). They can sleep six or you can hire them as your bridal suite, with breakfast delivered to you in the morning.
With all the comforts inside and decking outside with a view along the Tern Valley, they make the perfect romantic hideaway.
For larger groups the Straw Lodge has bunkrooms and can accommodate up to 25 guests.
Alternatively, why not let your guests be at one with nature and set up pitch and camp overnight.
