More information

Storyteller and author Graham Harvey will be joining us at Fordhall Organic Farm this September to share his vision for a countryside filled with independent family farms, producing nutrient-dense food through nature-friendly methods.

Sounds a bit like us, don’t you think?

Haven't heard of Graham? His other books include The Forgiveness of Nature, We Want Real Food and Grass-Fed Nation... as an agricultural story editor for The Archers, he has written more than 600 episodes of the BBC Radio 4 soap over 34 years.

As a farming journalist in the 1970s Graham watched the chemical industry destroy sustainable farming in Britain and slowly degrade our local produce. In the decades since, he has campaigned for a return to nature-friendly farming.

Graham will share his battles against chemical agriculture talk about his life in Ambridge. He’ll also set out his vision for a countryside of independent family farms providing nutrient-dense foods by nature-friendly methods.
