Dear Members of Fordhall Community Land Initiative... we're tidying up our Members List!

NOTICE FROM THE FORDHALL COMMUNITY LAND INITIATIVE

As per the Rules of the Society (approval date 7th May 2025) under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014, this is notice of upcoming removal of ‘out of contact’ Members.

Throughout the past 12-months, any Member that our records show is potentially ‘out of contact’ has attempted to be contacted by all possible means (post, phone, email).  Contact has also been attempted via any potential linked members if records provide any other names or potential contact options.  

All Members that remain out of contact at our year-end will be removed from our Membership list without further notice.  If a Member wishes to retain their membership of Fordhall Community Land Initiative, they must respond to this notice by 10th December 2025 to confirm their continued interest and provide updated contact details.

Should we not hear from an identified ‘out of contact’ Member by 10th December 2025 then they will be removed from our Membership list by the  Society Secretary.  They then cease to be a member of The Fordhall Community Land Initiative. The remaining amount standing to the credit of such ceased Member in the share account of the Society shall be forfeited to the Society and the associated shares cancelled.
